Through a recent interview with Tyler, we learn more about his business and future goals.
Dr. Tyler Brady’s Story
How did you get involved in the profession of Cosmetic Dentistry?
“I had a lot of dental work done as a kid, and became enamored by it and learning more about teeth and smiles. I eventually realized how much I helped people feel better about how they look, giving them their dream smiles”.
What is most rewarding or challenging about your job?
The most rewarding thing is helping those that are truly in need of restoring their smiles and being able to eat and feel confident with their smile. The hardest part is meeting and setting realistic expectations for my patients. There are limitations to what we can achieve and what is possible, especially within a certain budget or time period.
What do you do as a hobby?
“Snowboarding is one of my favorite hobbies.. I taught myself to ski a couple of years ago. I have been snowboarding since junior high and frequently visit places all over to go enjoy the snow. I also enjoy cars. I actually owned a small dealership with my brother a few years ago. It was really fun to be able to see and drive fun cars”.
What was your motivation to buy/sell your home, or buy/lease your commercial property?
“I enjoy growing, progressing, and meeting financial milestones. I think owning real estate is an important part of that”.
What do you wish other people knew about you?
“I love the Southlake community. I have worked with patients from all over the country and have a large following on social media, but I would love to see and work with more people in the local community”.
If people were to use one word to describe you, what would it be?
“Compassionate. I’m a giver. I love to help people feel loved and welcome”.
What are your goals for 2023?
“Buy a commercial property and create passive income for my family”.
Where do you see yourself/your business in 5 years?
“I would honestly like to have my own TV show. We’re just finishing up filming and I’m really excited about how it’s going”.
Tell us one story about something good/funny that happened along the way to your success
“Something I’m proud of is that I get people from all over who appreciate my talents. I’m proud of how much I’ve learned, and how far I’ve come since opening Haven Dental. I’m still young, so I’m excited to see where the rest of my career takes me. A proud moment was Shawn. I had a patient come from Australia to get her work done from me. It really meant a lot”.
Who inspires you?
“My parents and grandparents for sure. But honestly, so many people inspire me with their stories and the things they’ve been through”.
What is one bit of advice you would give someone entering your profession?
“You will never know until you try. When you try, go all in and make it happen. There will be a lot of roadblocks on the journey, but it will be that way in life no matter what, just pick which ones you are willing to endure”.
Making a Difference
Tyler is currently enjoying the best of both worlds in DFW with his practice in Southlake and new residence in Argyle’s master-planned community of Harvest, thanks to the help of Milani Properties with Champions DFW Realty. Dr. Brady loves spending time with his wife and four children when he isn't seeing patients.
Unsurprisingly, this cosmetic dentist and real estate expert cross paths as they are both passionate about helping others. When lacy isn’t helping clients with real estate transactions, she and her husband and two boys, are rescuing animals. Lacy has been a pet rescue ambassador for many years and continues to support local rescue organizations across DFW.
